Daily habits part 2

I got zero views on my last blog apart from a FB like from my Godfather Tim (thanks Tim). Not sure he actually read it though, but I checked and the link was broken so either that's why or this topic is so mind-numbingly boring that no one cares.

I'll try again to see if anyone is interested. IS ANYONE OUT THERE? Mum, you don't count. Love you but no.

Where was I up to? I'd cleaned my teeth hadn't I.

If it's a school day, my children may be up by now but I'll leave them out of this, mainly because they will probably emancipate themselves from me as teenagers if I share their lives openly on the internet. Fair fair.

Oh I'd had a lemon water hadn't I. Probably won't eat breakfast until a bit later. I play around with intermittent fasting but if I'm mega hungry i'll eat. Still trying to shed some lockdown fluff that stubbornly sticks to my perimenopausal body. I got very sick on our last foreign holiday and have managed to keep some kilos off that I inadvertently lost during that episode (I do not recommend violent illness as a weight loss tool, it was brutal).

What else do I do. Feed the cats. They are so pampered and very routine, not overweight though, they hunt and regularly bring us wildlife they have slayed. Sad but that's animals for you! I prefer it when they have completed the task as dealing with half-alive prey, assessing whether to save or send on their way is quite a strong start to the day.

The school run is a good energiser as we tend to walk, so get some early steps in. Then Mon-Fri I will start my day. If Toby is around he generally goes quiet from around 9am when his calls start so I can focus. He is my biggest distraction. Which I suppose is a healthy situation.

Depending on what day it is, I might have a marketing and mindset call to kick off, or on a Tuesday I have co-working which is a virtual session with other equestrian businesses. I tend to have a healthy to-do list that I build on a Friday in "Finish Strong Friday" a power hour call with my network which sets me up with an intention for the week ahead.

This week's intention...actually I didn't set one on Friday as I missed it as I was ill. No wonder I've felt discombobulated this week. I'd better set one now....

I'll carry on with this if someone reads it and comments (not you Mum) otherwise i'll crack on with something else. Over and out.
